Vechirka
Every Monday night we meet with a load of young people from all different backgrounds, and the purpose is to have fun. We love doing big summer camps, but we got tired of waiting for the next big camp before we could have fun together. So we tried to recreate that 'camp' feeling every week. That is what Vechirka is all about.
It is a play on words too - because 'Vechirka' in Ukrainian means 'party' but it is also close to the word 'Vera' which means 'faith'. So, you guessed it, its like a 'faith party'. Because worship and Biblical teaching is the focus of our evening of fun together. We use a lot of video, most of which we have made ourselves. And each season we focus on different themes, like 'Life Priorities', 'Why we are Strange', and 'How to get the perfect job'.
