Mission Impossible
Many years ago (well, it was 2001 actually) a group of young people in Ukraine decided to try something quite impossible. They set out to send one of their group to experience a country that was worse off than Ukraine (and nobody could imagine a country worse than Ukraine!). In the end, due to God's amazing provision, the group raised enough money to send four people, and they ended up going to Tanzania in Africa, where they helped to build a school. A life changing experience, and one that opened up the idea of Mission, and going into the world and making disciples of all nations. Something Ukraine doesn't really do that well. We're quite happy to wait for others to come here!
Since then we have done loads of projects and visited loads of countries. Not as tourists, but with teams of people ready and willing to complete practical social action projects and share our Faith through this work. In fact the current list contains 783 people sent to these different countries:
- Tanzania, Siberia, Tajikstan, Kenya
- Ukraine, Belarus, South Africa, Nepal
- Uganda, India
